NEW TRAINING DAY FORMAT!

Our updated Training Day format is designed to give dogs and handlers more field work, more training reps, and more opportunities to learn throughout the day.
 
Each registered dog will receive an initial bird field run in one of two training fields with 2 birds planted in launchers. While waiting for their turn in the field, handlers will rotate through training stations focused on specific skills such as steadiness, retrieving, marking, water work, and other training exercises.
 
Training Day Packages
Natural Ability (NA) – $21 per dog
Includes 2 homing pigeons for your field run and access to community birds used at different training stations. 
 
GDT / Utility Level – $42 per dog
Includes 2 chukar for your field run to community birds used at different training stations.
 
Bring Your Own Birds (BYOB) – $7 per dog
For handlers bringing their own birds. This fee helps cover shared community training day bird costs for birds used in drills by the group.

If you bring an extra bird to donate to the community bird stock, your $7 community fee will be waived. 
 
All participants will benefit from community birds and training resources used for additional drills and demonstrations throughout the day.

 
This format allows for more efficient field runs, more training opportunities, and a stronger training community.

Training day will be held Saturday, April 18th at Prado Recreational Dog Park, meet at 7:30am, wait for stragglers, responsibly air out your dogs. 7:55am, group meeting, safety debrief, schedule for the day, with training kicking off promptly between 8-8:05am. *Remember, there is a $15 cash only fee to get into Prado.
