Training Day PackagesNatural Ability (NA) – $21 per dog: Includes 2 homing pigeons for your field run and access to community birds used at different training stations. This package is for NA-level dogs only and is not available for GDT or Utility level dogs. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as this ensures homers are not mistaken for kill pigeons in the training fields.
GDT / Utility Level (Chukar) – $42 per dog: Includes 2 chukar for your field run and community birds used at different training stations. GDT and Utility level handlers must select this package or the Kill Pigeon package below.
GDT / Utility Level (Kill Pigeon)– $30 per dog: Includes 2 kill pigeons for your field run and community birds used at different training stations. Kill pigeons are an excellent option, and strongly encouraged, for dogs that are not yet steady to shot/fall. GDT and Utility level handlers must select this package or the Chukar package above.
Bring Your Own Birds (BYOB) – $7 per dog: For handlers bringing their own chukar/quail. This fee helps cover shared community training day bird costs for birds, blanks and shells used in drills by the group. If you also bring an extra bird to donate to the community bird stock, your $7 community fee will be waived.
All participants will benefit from community birds and training resources used for additional drills and demonstrations throughout the day. This format allows for more efficient field runs, more training opportunities, and a stronger training community.

Training day will be held Saturday, September 19th at Prado Recreational Dog Park, meet at 7:30am, wait for stragglers, responsibly air out your dogs. 7:55am, group meeting, safety debrief, schedule for the day, with training kicking off promptly between 8-8:05am.
*Remember, there is a $15 cash only fee to get into Prado.
